Released in November 2001, this first Harry Potter film opened the door to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter by JK Rowling. This year, Harry Potter’s official global community, Wizarding World Digital, is preparing a special celebration for Potterheads around the world.

Celebration of 20 years of the magic of cinema

From the first day Harry Potter was premiered on the big screen, the magic remains in viewers. Now, 20 years later, Wizarding World will bring you back to the top 20 moments of Harry’s first adventure. There will be 20 stages that will be celebrated by November. Each week, Wizarding World will post an iconic scene from the film on its website.

This Hogwarts moment causes Harry to switch from hisdreading life in Dursleys 4 Privet Drive. Although it was never easy for Harry to leave his uncle and aunt’s house. They still seemed to find a way to stop Harry from leaving. We remember the excitement when hundreds of flying letters burst into the Dursleys’ house.
