As most of you know, there have been a lot of changes in my life this year which have demanded a shift in my time and energies; most notably my foot issues and my Mother In Law's illness. Both continue to be ongoing issues that require that I make some adjustments in the immediate to direct my focus where it is needed most.
With that in mind, I have decided to put classes on hiatus for the summer, let my foot heal further, take care of my family that needs me, and hopefully be ready to return to dance afresh in the fall. It has been a really hard decision, as having the joy of teaching you all is such an incredibly uplifting experience for me; and I hate feeling like I am letting you down by not being able to bring you all together to dance for a few months. But I believe it is the right choice to make right now, and hope to see you all smiling back at me in class when the schedule resumes.
If you have already paid in advance by cash or check for the next series, please get in touch with me so we can arrange a refund, or hold it over for the fall session. If you paid by Paypal, you should have received a refund already.
Want to keep dancing? Try some new styles? Check out some recommendations for other teachers and classes to check out here in Seattle.
I will still be blogging over the summer with my adventures and explorations in life, and I invite you to follow me over there if you're so inclined. If you do get a chance to take some classes in other styles, or otherwise keep dancing over the summer, I would love to hear about your experiences and how it's all going for you. Of course, if you have any questions, I am still available to y'all as always. And even if you're not dancing, keep in touch, won't you?
Have a great summer, everyone!
All my love,
Shay
